NEW EPISODE DROPS EVERY THURSDAY

Perfect Wife (HULU)Another day, another doozy. Remember the story about the woman who claimed she was abducted then it turned out she basically abducted herself? Buckle up, because this is a jaw dropper! OMG.

This walking/hiking fanny packOk, this is my version of a weighted vest, lol. Hear me out. I walk a ton, all over the city with Luna via wagon. I haul ass while she chills in her Radio Flyer noshing on croissants. I needed something to keep all of my shit together, along with water on my hip. This is also needed for my long walks in the woods with Michelle as I nearly had heat stroke that last walking meeting we had. As nerdy as it is, it is so helpful and convenient.

This cozy notebookThis notebook gives me full moon August vibes. It’s exactly what I need to keep my notes in order and ideas flowing.

Bad Influencing: The Dark Side of Kidfluencing (Netflix)Ok, wow. This docu-series is highly disturbing and offers an insightful look at what can go on behind the scenes of kid content creators on YouTube and also the addicting nature of said content. Parents, this is a must see.

Ballet Flats for Dinner. Our dear friend, Bridget McGuire, will be performing her original show, Ballet Flats for Dinner, at Zanies in Rosemont on September 11. Michelle and I will be there and you should be there too. Bridget is not only hilarious, but her show helps raise awareness for mental health specifically for OCD. Prepare to laugh so hard you cry.

Flamingo Inflatable PoolThis pool has elevated our summer in the city! It’s big enough for the whole family and lights up at night due to its solar panels. If you need something to help you beat the heat, then this pool is for you. It’s fun, it’s festive, and it cools off the whole gang!

Oxy Clean Odor Blasters. I use these laundry pods for my yoga clothes, bathing suits, and spots/stains. They do a great job getting the workout stink out along with any pesky stains.

Skylight Digital CalendarI saw this digital calendar frame at a friend’s home and the Type A woman in me knew I needed it. I have been doing our family calendar white board style, but it was time for something more efficient. My review: Skylight is amazing! I color code everything, there’s an app along with a desktop calendar available, you can make grocery lists/meal plan, AND it acts as a photo frame as well. If you need something to help keep life a bit more organized and you love seeing your calendar daily - I highly recommend Skylight.

stay cozy, Lauren
