NEW EPISODE DROPS EVERY THURSDAY

Paws and Pros Notecard Set (Papier) OMG. OMG. The Correspondent has me fully inspired to write more letters, and sweet Mia gifted me these for my birthday. Is the dapple dachshund not the most adorable thing you have ever seen in your life? You better believe she was the first recipient. Yes, I wrote her a letter, stamped it, and mailed it to my own house. I think she might enjoy getting mail, don’t you? Also, do you want to be pen pals?

Taylor Swift: The End of an Era (Disney) Good vibes bong alert, and I do not want to hear a single word about Taylor annoying you. She is a creative genius, a businesswoman extraordinaire, and one of the most real people out there. If you want something that will make you cry tears of joy, watch this six-episode masterpiece.

The Correspondent by Virginia Evans - This was the perfect way to end one year and begin another. An epistolary novel told entirely through Sybil’s words. She is direct, kind, complicated, and I am fully obsessed. Read it immediately.

Drift Car Air Freshener - Ryan found these in his stocking this Christmas, and I am officially converted. They are a cooler, less toxic way to make your car smell like that pine tree my dad used to buy at Fullers and hang from the windshield wiper lever. Pure nostalgia, minus the endocrine disruptors.

Pluribus (Apple) - What in the Sam hell is going on here? Pluribus is post-apocalyptic and centers on a virus that creates a mind hive. Yes, I know. Don’t ask. Only a small group of people remain uninfected, and Carol Sturka is on a mission to undo it all. I am completely captured and one thousand percent confused. I cannot look away.

Mona’s Eyes by Thomas Schlesser - This little ditty was a Sexy Jan recommendation. If you don’t know who that is, then you clearly are not listening to the podcast. I am completely in love with this novel. Young Mona faces the possibility of losing her eyesight, and her grandfather responds in the most beautiful way. He takes her to see one single piece of art every Wednesday, choosing to celebrate all there is to see in the world. It is tender, thoughtful, and a welcome distraction from the heaviness of real life these days.

Coach Tabby Shoulder Bag I did it, friends. I bought myself a fancy purse. Fancy for me, anyway. It was a very Coach Christmas for sixteen and seventeen-year-old girls across the Midwest. Mia’s gift sent me browsing, and I kept coming back to this one until my bestie Kellene came along to give her blessing. It has both a crossbody and a shoulder strap, and the practical girly in me is deeply in love with this perfect big-girl bag.

Nuuly - I am 3 months into my Nuuly subscription, and I am totally obsessed. I feel like I am utilizing more of my own closet with the pieces I am renting, and I have successfully attended events without shopping for anything new! I am telling you, try it, don’t deny it. Use my link and get $30 off your first month’s subscription.

Stay cozy,

Michelle
