Snail Mail Wax Seal for Envelopes - If you want to level up your letter-writing while fully living in your analog era, go on Etsy immediately. Find a wax seal that speaks to you, and get to writing. Instant romance. Zero regrets.
Sealing Wax Beads - These little meltable pellets are literally the icing on the cake—or the wax seal on the letter. This is hands down the most satisfying part of my letter-writing phase, IMO. The fact that I’m using a candle to melt wax makes me feel extremely Jane Austen-esque, and I am not mad about it.
The Rip - This Netflix flick stars Matt Damon and Ben Affleck as Miami cops who stumble upon a large stash of money during a police seizure, prompting them to question who they can actually trust. It’s entertaining, action-packed, and I giggled often at Matt and Ben’s banter. Honestly, it made me want to rewatch Good Will Hunting for old times’ sake.
Truvani - This is an organic, plant-based protein powder I’ve been adding to my smoothies for the better part of a year. It’s gluten-free, dairy-free, and only has 2 grams of sugar. There are tons of flavors, but I am—and always will be—partial to chocolate.
PB2 - Powdered nut butter is the other smoothie MVP that makes them so damn good while still packing in protein. I stick with the original PB. OMG! ILISM!
Say Good Night to Insomnia - One of my little sweeties is struggling with sleep these days, so I’ve made it my mission to understand sleep struggles and support them as best I can. This book came highly recommended during my search and has been a helpful place to start.
Pilot Kakuno Fountain Pen - Since I’ve taken up letter writing, it felt necessary to invest in a proper fountain pen. This one has a fine ink line that doesn’t smear as I drag my left hand across the page. IYKYK.
Stackable Storage Drawers - Mia Marie has an abundance of things on her dresser and vanity that desperately need a home. I liked this option because it fits neatly under her vanity and is made of clear plastic (so we can actually see what’s in there). We’ll see how long it stays organized. Who am I to talk, though? The organization gene skipped me entirely. I’m just happy she’s happy.
Stay cozy,
Michelle
