Dinosaur Documentary (Netflix)
I must have been a paleontologist in a previous life because I am obsessed with dinos. Created by Steven Spielberg and narrated by Morgan Freeman, this documentary on Netflix absolutely blew my mind with all of these new dino facts. Like, did you know at one point it rained for a million years? Whaaaat?
Love Story (Hulu)
Being a sucker for all things ’90s, especially JFK Jr. and CBK, naturally I had to tune in. The acting is pretty terrible, but it is extremely nostalgic, which is what my soul needs these days. Plus, the soundtrack and fashion are impeccable. You can watch it on Hulu, and honestly, it’s worth it for the nostalgia alone.

I will do just about anything to spend less time on my phone — including using The Brick. This little device actually locks you out of apps you’re tired of spending time on and perhaps slightly addicted to checking. Michelle and I both have one on the way because we’re looking to get locked out and more into the present moment. If you want to join us on our Brick journey, use our code THESISTERPROJECT for 10% off. Let’s spend less time on our phones and more time in our worlds together. Learn more about The Brick, here.
Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls
Whether it’s Women’s History Month or not, this board book is always in rotation and Luna loves it. It’s a great way to teach little ones about some of the incredible women who came before us — and some who are still with us now. Every little girl needs this bedtime book.
For lovers of THC-infused drinks, there’s a new one in town created by Willie Nelson and friends. I tried it and loved it. Mixed with sparkling water, I found it not only refreshing but effective as well. Let’s just say the giggles and good vibes were flowing. It’s a bit pricey, but could make for a great gift for the THC lover in your life.
Dare I say Easter candy is the best candy? When it comes to simple joys, having a bag of these on hand can literally shift a mood. Grab a bag, here.
Many moons ago, a gal at Sephora said, “Whatever you do, don’t spend a lot of money on your face wash. Save that for the rest of your skincare.” I listened, and I haven’t spent more than $18 on face wash since. I go old school with Cetaphil for about ten bucks. It does the job.
Stay cozy,
Lauren
