NEW EPISODE DROPS EVERY THURSDAY

Noah Kahan: Out of Body (Netflix) - I liked all the Noah Kahan songs I’d heard before, but after watching this documentary, I’m officially a fan. It explores his life, family, and rapid rise to fame. Released April 13, 2026, the 90-minute film dives into his creative journey, his struggles with anxiety and body dysmorphia, and his deep connection to Vermont. He’s so real and disarming, and his songwriting makes me want to keep creating.

La Grange Farmers Market - In just under a month, the LGBA Farmers Market will be up and running for another incredible season. I’m really looking forward to reconnecting with favorite farmers and friends and stocking up on all the seasonal goodness. Mark your calendars. May 21, we’re back.

Lacrosse Balls I’m 48 and carrying around some very tight fascia. My strength and functional movement trainer, Meghan Jackson, showed me how to loosen it up in class a couple weeks ago. Now I do it at home. For the record, my home is comfy. This activity is not.

No Bad Parts by Richard C. Schwartz - When my therapist friend Emily Steffen from New Day Counseling recommends a book, I read it. This one centers on the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, which says our minds are made up of different “parts.” Even the parts that show up in messy ways are actually trying to protect us. Healing comes from understanding them, not eliminating them. This kind of work captivates me. I’ll share more on the pod.

Ginger Garlic Shrimp with Coconut Milk (NYT) - At this stage of life, I’m looking for weeknight meals that are quick, easy, and actually delicious. This one checks every box.

Margo’s Got Money Trouble (Apple) - Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Nick Offerman are so good in this drama-comedy. Elle plays a young mom trying to make ends meet, getting unexpected help from her estranged father and an OnlyFans account. It’s ridiculous in the best way. I binged the first four episodes in one sitting.

e.l.f. Reviver Lip Oil - This is what Bethenny Frankel would call “at the level.” It’s $9.99 and just as good, if not better, than the $40 versions.

Stay cozy,

Michelle
