To All the Super Moms Out There
Moms across America—this one’s for you.
One day every year is set aside to honor all the moms. Why it’s just one day and not an entire week spent in Barbados is beyond me—but that’s beside the point.
From the moment of conception until we take our last breath, we live for those little beings we call our babies. After all, they’re the ones who made us moms in the first place.
Motherhood is no joke. The responsibility is hefty, the work never-ending, and yet—without fail—we show up every single day. Because we are warriors. We are mothers.
We are the pillars and the foundation of our homes.
Moms are the absorbers of every emotion, the fixers, the bandaid stickers. We’re the teachers and the lesson keepers.
We are mothers.
Some moms are on their own. They call themselves single moms. I call them super moms.
Oh, who am I kidding? We’re all super moms.
So, may your special day be filled with every single thing you want and deserve—because you’ve more than earned it, Mom.
Happy Mother’s Day.
Stay cozy,
Michelle
