NEW EPISODE DROPS EVERY THURSDAY

Katie Wyatt Fine Art Embroidery Kit – Last Christmas, Lauren gifted me this embroidery kit, and I finally sat down with it last weekend while waiting for the kids to roll in. I’ve never embroidered anything in my life, but her directions were super clear — and when I needed extra help, a quick YouTube video did the trick. It turned out to be one of the most meditative, grounding activities I’ve done in ages…and it kept me from mindlessly scrolling for hours. Highly recommend if you’re craving a cozy, hands-on escape.

The Lodge Pant – Crepette (Aritzia) – Cozy, flowy, and elevated with a drawstring waist — these pants are officially part of my uniform rotation. They’re so comfortable I might marry them. Truly, they’re that good.

Babaton Utility Shirt (Aritzia) – My capsule wardrobe continues to evolve, and this shirt is my latest addition. It’s one of those magical pieces that can be dressed up or down and pairs with everything. Zero regrets.

Just A Touch Tinted Moisturizer (Jones Road Beauty) – I’m a simple lady when it comes to makeup, and this tinted moisturizer checks all the boxes. Lightweight, natural, and just enough coverage for my everyday routine. Effortless — which is exactly how I like it.

Miracle Balm in Tawny (Jones Road Beauty) – Oh. My. Word. This balm really is miraculous. I’m obsessed with the lightly tinted, slightly tacky texture and the dewy glow it leaves on my cheeks. Exactly what I’ve been searching for.

The Neutralizer Pencil (Jones Road Beauty) – My new dark-circle eraser. Smooth coverage, zero cakey finish, and it somehow feels like nothing’s there — in the best way possible. 100% here for it.

Monster: The Ed Gein Story (Netflix) – There is nothing cozy about this one. In fact, I’m still recovering from some of the visuals. Still, I couldn’t look away and binged it in a week. Ed Gein was the real-life inspiration for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Buffalo Bill in Silence of the Lambs. His crimes were horrific — this man literally wore people’s skin as masks. So… I’m not sure what to say here except: Happy Halloween?

The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron - This book has been brought up more than once, so I finally ordered it and I can’t wait to dive in. Cameron blends spirituality, self-reflection, and practical exercises to help readers quiet their inner critic, heal creative wounds, and rediscover joy in creating. It’s not just for artists — it’s a guide for anyone who wants to live more creatively and authentically. I am very much looking forward to daily morning writing designed to clear your mind and your blocks. However, the The Artist Date – a weekly solo outing meant to spark inspiration, play, and curiosity has me looking forward to what is to come!

Stay cozy,

Michelle
