Dr. Seuss’s Thankful Things
My Aunt Loesch gifted Luna this book, and it’s become our sweetest bedtime ritual. Every night, we cozy up in bed to read it and then talk about what we’re thankful for. There’s nothing more heart-melting than hearing a three-year-old share her gratitude. Thank you, Loesch—new family favorite!
New Corkcicle Martini Shaker
For my birthday, I received a new martini shaker for my weekly Martini Friday, and wow—major upgrade. It’s by Corkcicle and has a built-in jigger in the cap (genius), plus it doesn’t sweat when you shake your tini—or whatever you’re whipping up. Martini Fridays are feeling extra elevated these days. This is a great gift for a cocktail lover in your life.
Factor Meals
When we’re in a bind, exhausted, or just need something quick yet filling and delicious, we grab a Factor meal from the fridge. Their vegetarian options are so satisfying, and I’m also obsessed with the protein smoothies. They’re a total lifesaver for busy weeks when cooking just isn’t happening.
Best Pumpkin Spice Latte in La Grange Goes To… Bellbird.
I’ve had many PSLs in my day, and I’m thrilled to report that Bellbird Bakery and Coffee in downtown La Grange has one of the best. To earn that title, the “pumpkin” needs to be homemade, not too sweet, and perfectly spiced—and Bellbird delivers. I love it with oat milk, and it pairs beautifully with their honey buttermilk scone. Pumpkin season perfection.
One Battle After Another
I loved this movie. It’s long as hell but nonstop and fast-paced from start to finish. Leonardo DiCaprio and Sean Penn are incredible, but Benicio del Toro completely stole the show. Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, it follows a former revolutionary, Bob (DiCaprio), who’s forced out of hiding when his estranged daughter is kidnapped by forces tied to his radical past. As he sets out to rescue her, he’s confronted by old enemies and the consequences of his former life. Buckle up for this one.

Osea Skincare
Anthony gifted me a few OSEA skincare goodies for my birthday, and if you need a gift for anyone who loves lotions and potions, this line is it. I especially love the body oil and body polish—both are luxurious with a fresh, earthy scent that grounds you after a long shower. Truly spa-level self-care in a bottle.
This Cozy Sweater from Vuori
I popped into Vuori to check out their cashmere sweater but ended up walking out with this ultra-cozy one instead. The fit, feel, and vibe won me over instantly. I grabbed it in navy (size M), and it’s basically my uniform for fall and winter.
Stay cozy,
Lauren
